At the Massage Therapy Institute, we are dedicated to providing high-quality massage therapy services to our clients and educating future massage therapists in the art of healing through touch. Since our establishment in 1993, we have been committed to offering affordable massages to those in our community who want to incorporate this therapeutic practice into their daily lives.

Our team, led by Larry and Beth Friedrichs, is passionate about creating an environment that promotes relaxation, rejuvenation, and self-healing. We believe that the mind, body, and environment are interconnected and contribute to the body's experience of well-being. Therefore, we offer a variety of massage therapies tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

Meet Our Staff

Our staff consists of experienced and licensed massage therapists who are dedicated to providing exceptional service. Larry Friedrichs, LMT, has been practicing massage therapy since 1993 and has extensive knowledge in various techniques such as Freeing the Breath-way, Myofascial Release, Medical Massage for the Back, HEMME APPROACH to Neck and Shoulder Pain, Onsite Massage, and Equine Massage/Muscle Therapy Techniques. He is also an instructor with licenses in Theory and Practice of Therapeutic Massage, Business Practices, Professional Ethics, and Specialized Massage.

Beth Renee Friedrichs, R.N., LMT, graduated from the Massage Therapy Institute in 2015 and holds a nursing degree from Calhoun Community College. She is an instructor with licenses in Anatomy, Physiology, and Clinical Pathology, Business Practices, Professional Ethics, Chair Massage, Theory and Practice of Therapeutic Massage, and CPR/BLS.

Continuing Education

Equine Massage Therapy Certification

In addition to our human massage therapy services and education, we also offer equine massage therapy certification. This program is designed for individuals who are passionate about horses and want to learn how to provide therapeutic massage to improve their health and well-being.
