TAK Music Venue

TAK Music Venue is the newest addition to the Fargo-Moorhead music scene, providing a state-of-the-art platform for bands, music ensembles, and solo artists to showcase their talent. Our Story

TAK Music Venue was formed in the Summer of 2018 by Todd Carlson, a drummer, and music enthusiast who has been a part of the local music scene for decades. Todd's passion for music is a family affair, with his wife, Kirstin, an accomplished flautist and band director, and their two sons, Nathan and Aiden, who play trombone and trumpet, respectively. The name "TAK" is a tribute to the Carlson family, and our slogan, "TAK, where music comes first, " reflects our commitment to providing an unparalleled musical experience for both performers and audiences.

Our Mission and Vision

Our mission is to create a space where a wide variety of musical acts can perform and thrive. We aim to achieve this by providing a high-quality venue with a large stage, top-of-the-line equipment, and an expert staff dedicated to ensuring that every event runs smoothly. Our seating area is flexible and can be customized to suit the needs of each performance, while our green room and private bathroom offer a comfortable space for artists to relax and prepare. We also have a full liquor license and can arrange catering for events upon request.
