At Ballet Arts of Central New York, we believe that dance is a powerful tool that elevates, stimulates, and enhances our life experience. As the premier ballet training program in Central New York, we strive to provide a comprehensive education in classical ballet and complementary styles of dance, while promoting good stewardship of the body as our instrument.

Our Mission

Our mission is to create a nurturing environment that fosters artistry, creativity, and joy in movement, as well as esprit de corps among our students. We aim to inspire and educate our students to become confident, expressive, and technically proficient dancers, who will go on to make a positive impact in the world.

Our Faculty

Our faculty is led by Melissa Larish, a registered instructor for The Royal Academy of Dance and a seasoned professional with extensive training and performance experience. Our instructors are passionate about sharing their knowledge and expertise with the next generation of ballet dancers, and are dedicated to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Our Classes

We offer a range of classes for students of all ages and skill levels, from beginner to advanced. Our classes are designed to be engaging, challenging, and fun, with a focus on building strength, flexibility, and technique. We also offer adaptive ballet classes for students with special physical or developmental needs, and are committed to making our programs accessible to all.
