Since 2010, our team of experienced professionals has been dedicated to helping our patients achieve and maintain healthy skin. Led by Dr. Michele Hughes, our staff is passionate about delivering personalized and compassionate care to every patient who walks through our doors.

Meet Our Team

*Dr. Michele Hughes, M.D., F.A.A.D*: As the Director of Premier Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center, Dr. Hughes is a Board Certified Dermatologist who specializes in Mohs Micrographic Surgery. She grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and moved to Houston, Texas. Dr. Hughes played softball throughout high school and continued her career in softball on scholarship at Mississippi University for Women, where she earned a Bachelor's of Science, majoring in Microbiology. She was named Outstanding Microbiology Graduate in 2002 and graduated with honors. Dr. Hughes then attended medical school at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, Mississippi. She completed her Internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and her Dermatology Residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Hughes is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and has received numerous awards and recognitions for her contributions to the field of dermatology.

*ASHLEY BOURGEOIS, PA-C*: Ashley is a nationally certified Physician Assistant specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She was born and raised in Gulfport, Mississippi, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Southern Mississippi. She then attended Mississippi College where she earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Ashley is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the Mississippi Academy of Physician Assistants.

*ROBIN BALIUS, Aesthetician*: Robin is a licensed aesthetician with over 18 years of experience in the skin care industry. She specializes in customized facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and waxing services. Robin is dedicated to providing her clients with the highest level of service and education to help them achieve their skin care goals.

Laser Services: Our state-of-the-art laser technology allows us to provide our patients with a range of laser services, including Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), LightSheer Duet TM, Nd:YAG multipurpose laser, Photodynamic Therapy (Blu Light therapy ResurFX Photo Fractional Laser), and more.

Skin Care Products: We offer a selection of high-quality skin care products from leading brands, including Elta MD, Isdin, Latisse, NeoCutis, SkinBetter, Skin Ceuticals, Silagen Scar Refinement, and ZO Skin Health by Zein Obagi.

Skin Cancer Treatment: As a skin cancer center, we specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers, including melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, and squamous cell carcinoma.
