Modesto Mini Storage is a well-established self-storage facility, founded in 1985 and currently owned by Alex Forbes. Since its inception, the company has been dedicated to providing top-notch storage solutions for the Modesto, California community. Over the years, Modesto Mini Storage has expanded to include three other facilities in Ceres and Merced, collectively known as Sierra Storage. Our mission is to offer secure, clean, and affordable storage units, combined with exceptional customer service.

Our facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art security systems, including computerized gate access, video surveillance, and on-site management. These features, coupled with our office hours and extended gate hours, ensure that our customers have convenient access to their belongings while maintaining a high level of security.

As a privately-owned business, Modesto Mini Storage treats its property as a gated community. We take the safety and well-being of our customers and staff seriously, implementing strict lease terms and on-premise rules that must be respected. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in immediate revocation of access, eviction, or possible arrest for trespassing.

Our Services

At Modesto Mini Storage, we offer a comprehensive range of storage services tailored to meet the diverse needs of our customers. Our units vary in size, from small 5x5 spaces suitable for record storage to large 10x30 units accommodating the contents of an entire household. Additionally, we provide U-Haul rentals, making it easy for customers to transport their belongings to our facilities.

Our storage tips section is designed to help customers make the most of their storage units. We offer advice on packing, labeling, and protecting items to ensure safekeeping and efficient storage. We strongly recommend insuring your stored belongings, especially if you already have renters or car insurance. Most insurance companies will allow you to add your storage unit belongings to your current insurance plan for a minor additional monthly fee. Taking pictures of valuable items and the storage unit beforehand can help document the contents in case of unforeseen incidents, such as break-ins or fire damage.

Our team is committed to ensuring a seamless storage experience for all our customers. We offer both online and over-the-phone communication, enabling us to address any questions or concerns you may have. Kindly note that our office hours are Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 6 pm, and we are closed on Sundays. However, our gate hours are from 6 am to 10 pm, seven days a week, including holidays.
