Our Practice

Mission EyeCare Optometry is a well-established optometric office located in the heart of the Mission San Jose district in Fremont. We pride ourselves on delivering top-notch eye care and products. With over 500 frames in stock, including renowned brands such as Silhouette, Gucci, Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein, and Maui Jim, we guarantee you'll find the perfect pair of glasses or sunglasses that suits your style and preferences.

In addition to our extensive collection of frames, we specialize in corneal refractive therapy to control near-sightedness and other contact lens fits, including toric and bifocal contact lenses. We also offer comprehensive services to check for glaucoma, cataracts, and other eye diseases.

Our Doctor

Dr. Harren Chu, our dedicated and experienced optometrist, was born in Taiwan and grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. After moving to California, she obtained her B.S. and Doctor of Optometry degree from U.C. Berkeley. In 1997, Dr. Chu opened her private practice in Fremont and has since had the privilege of serving her community. She has been a member of the Alameda Contra-Costa County Optometric Society and participates in the Children's Vision First, a program that provides free exams to children in our community.

Dr. Chu is passionate about her work and takes great pleasure in the care of her patients. She values her patients' feedback and always aims to provide personalized and attentive service. In her spare time, Dr. Chu enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, and traveling.

Additionally, we provide instant demonstrations of Transitions photochromic technology. This allows you to see firsthand how lenses darken and fade back to clear, providing you with continuous visual comfort.
