Greensboro Ballet

Welcome to Greensboro Ballet, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that aims to serve, inspire, and enrich our communities through the power of dance and the evolving art of Classical and Contemporary Ballet. Our performing company, Greensboro Ballet, and our School of Greensboro Ballet share the mission of captivating audiences through artistic excellence, inclusivity, and innovation. We strive to provide the highest caliber of dance instruction, empower and educate our students, and cultivate a lasting appreciation of dance through active engagement with communities across Greensboro, the Piedmont Triad, and surrounding areas.

The School of Greensboro Ballet, the official school of Greensboro Ballet, is located in the heart of downtown Greensboro's cultural and artistic center, the Greensboro Cultural Center. We welcome students of all ages, races, and genders, providing them with the finest dance education and fostering an environment of discipline and artistic expression. Our curriculum includes classical ballet, pointe & pre-pointe, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, and children's dance.

Performances

Our 2023/2024 season is filled with fun and entertaining performances that showcase the talents of our students and artists. Some of the upcoming events include The Nutcracker, Storybook Tales, and Tea with Fancy Nancy. Our performances not only provide an opportunity for our students to showcase their skills, but also create memorable experiences for our audiences.

Summer Programs

Summer at the School of Greensboro Ballet is an exciting time for serious ballet students. Our summer intensives offer rigorous training, master classes, and performance opportunities. We also offer Children's Dance Workshops for younger students, providing a fun and engaging introduction to the world of dance.

School Information

The School of Greensboro Ballet offers various programs to cater to the needs of our students. Our Children's Program provides a nurturing and enjoyable environment for young dancers, while our Adult Classes offer opportunities for adults to learn and enjoy dance. Our Class Schedule & Fees provide flexibility and affordability for our students.
