Central Oregon School-Ballet

At Central Oregon School of Ballet, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and challenging environment for students of all ages and skill levels to develop their love for dance. Since 1981, we have specialized in pre-professional ballet instruction in Bend, Oregon, and have been privileged to share our passion for the art form with countless students and families in the region.

Our Services

At Central Oregon School of Ballet, we offer a comprehensive program of classes for children as young as 5+, teenagers, adults, pre-professional dancers, and professionals in Central Oregon. Our classes cater to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced, and are designed to foster technical skill, artistic expression, and a deep appreciation for the beauty and power of dance.

Pre-Professional Ballet Instruction

Our program is divided into various levels, each with its own set of goals, expectations, and challenges. From the earliest stages of ballet training, we emphasize the importance of proper technique, musicality, and artistic expression. We encourage students to set and achieve their personal best, and we celebrate their progress and achievements along the way.

Other Services

In addition to our ballet program, we also offer adult classes in ballet and contemporary dance styles. These classes are designed for adults who wish to learn the fundamentals of ballet, improve their flexibility and strength, or simply enjoy the overall benefits of dance on their health and wellbeing. We believe that dance is a universal language that transcends age, background, and skill level, and we are committed to sharing this transformative art form with our community.

Meet Our Directors

Our directors, Joshua D. Deininger and Elizabeth Voiles, are accomplished professionals with extensive experience in ballet performance and education. Joshua has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance from Southern Methodist University and has danced with various studios and companies in the Pacific Northwest. Elizabeth is a certified ballet instructor with the Bolshoi Ballet and has performed with numerous dance companies in the United States and abroad.

Studio Policies

We strive to create a positive and supportive environment in our studio, and we have established policies to ensure the well-being and success of our students. Our dress code policy is designed to promote a sense of unity and professionalism among our students, while our attendance and makeup policies encourage students to prioritize their commitment to their ballet education.
