Landon's Greenhouse & Nursery

Landon's Greenhouse, a beloved horticultural institution based in Sheridan, Wyoming, was founded in 1979 by Jack and Kathy Landon. Initially occupying a four-acre plot northeast of Bighorn, Wyoming, the business has since expanded and evolved over the years to become the thriving enterprise it is today. In 2001, the retail store was relocated to its current address on College Meadows, situated across from Sheridan College. Meanwhile, the growing and production operation remained at the original location on Landon Lane.

Throughout the years, Landon's Greenhouse has prioritized the values of growth, adaptation, and community engagement. In 2013, the landscape department expanded to include a second crew, allowing the business to better serve its expanding clientele. Five years later, in 2015, Landon's Greenhouse opened a new location in Gillette, Wyoming. This 1,500-square-foot store is open for approximately 10-11 weeks each spring and is regularly stocked with fresh material from the growing and production operation in Sheridan.

In 2020, the growing and production operation was relocated from Landon Lane and rebuilt behind the retail store, on College Meadows Drive. This new location now boasts 7 greenhouses, providing a total of 29,400 square feet of growing and production space. In 2021, a 3,500-square-foot building was added for storage, and in 2022, an additional 2,280 square feet of greenhouse growing and production space were constructed.

Currently owned and managed by Keith and Jennifer Kershaw, Landon's Greenhouse continues to uphold the legacy of its founders. With over 20 years of experience in the wholesale and retail sides of horticulture, the Kershaw's are dedicated to providing the highest level of service and expertise to their customers. Landon's Greenhouse remains committed to fostering the growth and development of its staff, encouraging them to attend trade shows, visit vendors, and participate in workshops and certification programs.
