History
Our journey began when Mel Sole, a former South African PGA Tour player, turned his focus to teaching under the guidance of Phil Ritson. Mel's coaching career flourished, and he went on to establish the Canadian Golf Academy in Toronto. Later, he joined forces with Phil Ritson to launch the Phil Ritson-Mel Sole Golf School in Myrtle Beach, SC. In 2013, the school rebranded as the Mel Sole Golf School, maintaining its commitment to providing exceptional instruction at an affordable price. We have since expanded to two more locations - Sunset Beach, NC, and Ellicottville, NY - and a summer camp in Ellicottville, NY.
