Established in 2018, August Rose Health Center (ARHC) is a distinguished, privately-owned mental health and wellness organization located in Maryland. We hold full licensing from the State and accreditation from CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities), which is a testament to our unwavering commitment to providing high-quality mental health services.

At ARHC, we operate an Outpatient Mental Health Clinic (OMHC) that offers a wide range of services, including individual and family counseling, along with specialized Psychiatric Medication Management. Our clinic provides a supportive and confidential environment for individuals to address various emotional challenges. Our team of experienced and compassionate mental health professionals works closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that promote emotional well-being, recovery, and community integration.

In addition to our OMHC, we provide a dedicated Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) aimed at fostering the holistic recovery and social integration of our clients. Our PRP services are designed to assist individuals with regaining, maintaining, and achieving a desired sense of self, and we coordinate with behavioral health, community service providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that our clients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.

At ARHC, we serve a wide spectrum of individuals, including children aged 5 and above, adolescents, and adults. Our mission is to enhance access to top-notch behavioral health services for all residents of Maryland. Our Services

Our services are designed to address the impact that mental illness has on functioning and provide clients with effective tools to help them see the glass as half full instead of half empty. Here are some of the services we offer:

• Therapy Services: We offer mental health counseling services, which provide a supportive and confidential environment for individuals to address various emotional challenges. Our experienced therapists use evidence-based practices to help clients develop coping skills, improve communication, and enhance their overall well-being.
• Adult Psychiatric Rehabilitation: We guide our clients every step of the way to improve emotional wellness, a renewed sense of self, and gain independence based upon the 8 dimensions of wellness. Our PRP services for adults focus on fostering recovery, promoting community integration, and improving overall quality of life.
• Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Rehabilitation: We work to solve current problems and improve behavior for long-term results and changes, in the home, school, and community ages 5-18. Our PRP services for children and adolescents focus on improving behavior, promoting emotional well-being, and enhancing social skills in a developmentally appropriate and supportive environment.
• Group Services: Our goal is to provide support and guidance to groups of individuals who are facing some common issues with their mental health. We offer a variety of group therapy options, including support groups, psychoeducational groups, and process groups, which provide a safe and supportive space for individuals to connect with others who are facing similar challenges.
