Our History

Our story began when Paul Daniels, a 15-year-old high school student, started a small landscaping business to service his neighbors' lawns. After graduating and serving in the US Navy, he returned home to Orleans and expanded his business to include a nursery, excavation, foundations, septic pumping, land clearing, and road development. In the 1980s, he sold the nursery portion of the business and focused on excavation and waste management. In the mid-1990s, his son Steven joined the business, and together they merged their operations to form Daniels Recycling Co., Inc. Today, we're proud to be a leading provider of recycling, waste management, and septic services on Cape Cod.
