- Professional Eye Examinations: We provide a thorough, comprehensive ocular health examination and a precise prescription determined by the doctor. We utilize the latest technology in computerized autorefractors and visual field analyzers.
- Contact Lenses: Being one of our specialties, we fit all types of contacts: disposable, bifocals, tinted, toric (astigmatism) and gas-permeable rigid lenses.
- Optical Dispensary: We carry a large selection of fashionable high-quality frames. Our frames are current, and we utilize only the finest quality lenses.
- Optical Lab: We have a state-of-the-art computerized patternless edger that allows for an extremely accurate lens fit into your frame. Our computerized lensometer reads your prescription precisely. Two technicians will check your glasses before they are released.
- Treatment of Eye Diseases: We treat eye infections, iritis, glaucoma, and remove foreign bodies.
- Laser Vision Correction Consultations: We co-manage with several of the finest surgeons in the area. We can help you select the best surgeon for you and give you an honest opinion whether or not you are a good candidate for refractive surgery. We can provide your pre-operative evaluation and post-operative care.
- Optos: Optomap Retinal Screening: We now have the technology to take a digital ultra-widefield retinal image of unrivaled clarity. This can alleviate the need for dilation for most patients. The test takes less than 5 minutes.
Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Marc R. Brown, O.D. is a St. Louis native who received his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri - Columbia and attained his Doctor of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry (Memphis) in 1980. He has been a member of the American Optometric Association for over 42 years. He and his wife have twin boys.
