Our Journey
Our story began in 1967 when Aerospace Machinist Edwin Lea bought a one-man manufacturing operation in Burbank, California, and the Ed Lea Co. (Elco) was born. As Ed's attention to quality and service brought an increase in demand, machines were added and Ed's son Carl Lea joined the business. Over the years, our company has undergone significant transformations, from manual machining to computerized controls and advanced cutting tools. Today, we are a leading precision custom manufacturing company in metals and plastics.
Our Expertise
We offer a wide range of services, including CNC turning and milling, to produce complex parts with high precision and accuracy. Our expertise in machining cylindrical and prismatic geometries allows us to efficiently produce runs of 10 to 10,000 with virtually zero variation from part-to-part. We work closely with our clients to determine the best processes and make recommendations to ensure that their parts meet their exacting specifications.
