Company History

The idea of Rock Star Catering Co was born when our founder, Deana Stout, was hired as part of the craft service crew for the movie "White Fang, " which was being filmed in her small community of Haines, Alaska. It was then that she realized her passion for making good food for people in unexpected places. From there, she went on to cater for a film crew on a small island for Royal Caribbean Cruises, and the rest, as they say, is history. Today, Rock Star Catering Co is a renowned catering company that has served some of the most notable events in the region, including the Bald Eagle Music Festival and the memorial service for "Gold Rush Grampa" John Schnabel.
