Founded over 15 years ago, our guiding principle is to provide the kind of care we'd want for our own pets. We take pride in being "Aunties" and "Uncles" to all the critters we care for, and we back up that love with professional experience.

Our Story

Our journey began when Sandra Castro-Carrera, a passionate animal lover, founded Right at Home Pet Service in 2003. With a childhood spent bringing in strays and nursing injured animals, Sandra's experience as a veterinary assistant and her love for holistic veterinary care have shaped our services. Our team of seasoned sitters has a wealth of experience in pet care, having cared for dogs, cats, and other furry friends of all shapes and sizes. We believe that every pet deserves individual attention, customized care, and a whole lot of love.

Our Team

Our dedicated team is comprised of caring individuals who share a love for animals. Meet our family of sitters:

• Sandra Castro-Carrera, Founder/Owner, loves animals almost as much as she loves her own fur babies.
• Matt Kyle, Schedule Manager, brings his experience as a schedule mastermind to ensure seamless operations.
• Rebekah Birmingham, our animal-loving superstar, has a passion for caring for critters of all kinds.
• Erika Sorg, our social worker-turned-sitter, is a cat lover with a heart of gold.
• Walter Bezt, our newest member, is bringing his energy and excitement to the team.
• Justin Baker, our behind-the-scenes mastermind, keeps our operations smooth and seamless.

Our Services

We offer a range of services tailored to meet your pet's unique needs:

• Dog Walks: Take your furry friend on an adventure with our reliable and enthusiastic walkers.
• Pet Sitting: Leave your pet in the loving care of our experienced sitters for a stress-free getaway.
• Sleepovers: Let your pet enjoy a comfortable, relaxed stay with one of our trusted sitters.

Our Policies

At Right at Home Pet Service, we uphold the highest standards of professionalism and care. Here are our policies:

• Hours of Operation: We're available Monday through Sunday, 10:30a-4:30p, with additional hours available upon request.
• Payment: For daily dog walks, we invoice you separately. For vacation care visits, we require full payment before or on the visit start date.
• Cancellations & Add-Ons: We kindly request 24 hours' notice for cancellations; late cancellations incur a 50% service rate fee. Additional fees apply for off-hour services.
