Our History

Wellard Constructors was founded in 1947 by Jay Wellard. Rulon Wellard, the current owner, started working with his father at the age of 14 and later traveled with two world-large industrial construction companies before returning to Salmon in 1990 to partner with his father. Over the years, we have successfully completed numerous major projects in the Salmon, Lemhi County, and Custer County area, including new custom homes, home additions and remodels, steel buildings, and major concrete projects.
