Our History

Dwayne and Patty Spence founded the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home in 1969. Dwayne is a past President of the National Funeral Directors Association and a past President of the Ohio Funeral Directors Association. He has served on many local civic organizations over the past 50 years. The Spences are members of the Lithopolis United Methodist Church. Our commitment to the community and our passion for serving families have been the cornerstones of our success.
