Our Team

Hiram Lock & Key and Stephen's Locksmith Service are owned and operated by Stephen Hartdegen, who has been in the service business for over 30 years. After working in the retail auto parts industry and managing retail auto parts stores at a young age, Stephen gained a deep understanding of the importance of customer satisfaction. Directly previous to becoming a Locksmith, he worked in the computer industry as a computer consultant. With the help of friends and family, Stephen was able to turn the consulting business into an entity of his own. This is where he learned the business skills necessary to become self-employed, which led to the creation of Stephen's Locksmith Service. Shortly after entering the Locksmith trade, the Hiram Lock & Key identity was created to solidify a local identity. Since then, customer needs have given Stephen the opportunity to service the entire Atlanta Metro area (ITP and OTP), as well as many outlying areas, as far north as Calhoun to as far South as Griffin, as far west as Carrollton to as far east as Covington.
