Our dojo is located at 2588 State Route 718, Troy, OH 45373, and our mission is to instill self-confidence and self-discipline in our students by teaching them the traditional Japanese martial art of Okinawan ShorinRyu Karate, also known as Matsubayashi-Ryu.

Okinawan ShorinRyu Karate is a martial art that is steeped in history, originating from the Okinawan island of Japan. At the Okinawan ShorinRyu Karate Dojo, we teach the true and original art of Matsubayashi Ryu Karate by the Grand Master Shoshin Nagamine. This martial art is renowned for its effectiveness and simplicity and has been passed down through generations. Our certified black belt instructors are dedicated to providing personalized individual instruction to each of our students at all levels of training.

Our dojo is a fun and friendly environment where students feel safe as they learn karate. We offer classes for children and adults, and each of our students will learn about self-defense, health & fitness, concentration, confidence, discipline, respect, listening skills, coordination, safety awareness, and how to properly handle a bully. These characteristics will help students become stronger, confident, and prepare them to overcome problems they may face in today's world.
