Welcome to Power and Grace Preparatory Academy (PGPA), a newly established Christian school located in the heart of Clarksville, Tennessee. Since opening our doors to classes in August 2016, we have been dedicated to our unique mission of preparing youth for life by building character and academic excellence while emphasizing Jesus Christ and leadership.

Our Mission

At PGPA, we strive to create an environment where each student can grow intellectually and maximize the attributes of power and grace. We believe in the importance of setting high expectations for our students through intentional educational instruction, leadership development, and Christian doctrine. We are proud to serve students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin, providing a Christ-centered education that emphasizes the teaching of biblical principles and truths alongside strong academics.

Faculty & Curriculum

Our faculty is committed to providing an exceptional educational experience for our students. During our first year, we accepted students from Pre-K 4, kindergarten, and first grade. We have since expanded to include Pre-K 3, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade, 5th grade, and 6th grade. Our faculty is experienced, with 50% of our teachers having more than 10 years of experience. We maintain an 18:1 student to teacher ratio, allowing for individualized attention and instruction. Our faculty members are also highly qualified, with 90% holding advanced degrees.

We believe that the partnership of teachers and parents is essential to providing a quality Christian education. Power and Grace Preparatory Academy highly encourages the participation of parents, as we believe your involvement will help to catapult your child to success. Children learn, grow, and excel through the support and involvement of their parents.

Our vision is to be regionally known as a Christian school where every child is taught with high expectations to attain academic mastery through the all-encompassing wisdom, power, and grace of Jesus Christ. We are dedicated to providing a well-rounded education that emphasizes the importance of social and emotional learning, STEAM education, music, drama, and art, as well as physical education.

Enrichment Programs

We offer a variety of enrichment programs to complement our academic curriculum. Our social and emotional learning program helps students develop the skills they need to succeed in life, including communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Our STEAM education program emphasizes the importance of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics, providing students with hands-on learning experiences that promote critical thinking and creativity. Our music, drama, and art programs allow students to explore their creativity and develop their talents, while our physical education program promotes healthy lifestyles and teamwork.
