Imaginations at Work is owned by CJ and Carrie Knapp, who purchased the center in July 2014. CJ has extensive experience in childcare, having worked in various aspects of the industry for several years. He spent six years as a camp counselor and camp director while in college. In 2012, CJ became the Director of a childcare center in Forest Park. CJ graduated from Mount St. Joseph University in 2008 with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and Management and has 12 credit hours toward his Masters in Education.

Carrie has also worked with children in both in-home and childcare settings. After two years at Cornerstone University in Michigan, Carrie became a nanny, where she worked for four families over eight years. Carrie then became a teacher at a childcare center in Sharonville, where she worked with all ages of children from Infant to Preschool. Carrie continues to grow in her understanding of children through her many Step Up to Quality hours.

CJ and Carrie got married in April 2012 right here in Lebanon. They have grown their family over the years and now have two daughters and twin boys! They are big Cincinnati Reds fans and always enjoy trying new restaurants. CJ and Carrie would like to thank all of our staff and families for making Imagination a dream come true for us. We are very excited about working with such a great staff and love being in Lebanon.

Programs and Curriculum

Our childcare center focuses on your child's growth from as early as 6 weeks old. We offer various programs tailored to meet the specific needs of each age group. Our programs include an Infant/Toddler Program, a Preschool Program, and a School-Age/Summer Program. Our curriculum is designed to promote hands-on learning and encourage children's natural curiosity and desire to learn. We believe that children learn best through play and hands-on experiences, so we provide a variety of activities and materials to engage their senses and promote cognitive development.

Our Infant/Toddler Program is designed to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. We understand that infants and toddlers have unique needs, so we provide a developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes sensory exploration, language development, and social-emotional growth. Our Preschool Program is designed to prepare children for kindergarten. We provide a structured learning environment that promotes cognitive, language, social-emotional, and physical development. We also offer a School-Age/Summer Program that provides a safe and enjoyable environment for children during school vacations and summer months.
