Our Story

Brookhaven Funeral Home has a rich history that dates back to 1948, when it was originally founded as Perkins Funeral Home. Located over Perkins Hardware in downtown Brookhaven, the business was owned by the Perkins family and served the local community with dignity and respect. In 1948, a group of Brookhaven businessmen purchased the funeral home and changed its name to Brookhaven Funeral Home, moving it to a new location on 230 N. Jackson St.

In December of 2006, we embarked on a new chapter in our history by opening an additional location at 894 Natchez Dr. This expansion allowed us to better serve the families of Brookhaven and the surrounding communities, providing them with even more options and resources as they navigate the difficult process of planning a funeral or memorial service.

Today, Brookhaven Funeral Home remains a Mississippi family-owned funeral home, dedicated to providing the highest quality service and merchandise available at the most affordable price. We are proud of our heritage and are committed to continuing the tradition of excellence and compassion that has defined our business for generations.
