Backed by three decades of experience and a reputation for unwavering commitment to safety and quality, we serve a diverse range of industries, including oil & gas, petrochemical, coal mining, cogeneration, power generation, wind energy, paper mills, new construction, road and bridge construction, and commercial projects.

Our comprehensive service offerings cater to projects of all scales, from intricate plant maintenance tasks to large-scale construction endeavors. We pride ourselves on possessing the largest selection of cranes in the Ark-La-Tex region, strategically positioned in five major terminals across Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas, allowing us to respond efficiently to our client's needs throughout our service area.

A Legacy of Experience

Joyce Crane's journey began in 1985 as a small, family-owned business operating with a single crane. Founded by Joe Bob Joyce in Longview, Texas, the company, originally known as Joyce Steel Erection Ltd., quickly expanded its operations, reaching a staff of 40 and a fleet of 15 cranes within just a decade. This period saw a strategic shift in focus, moving away from steel erection services towards crane and rigging, recognizing a growing market demand.

Over the following two decades, Joyce Crane continued its impressive trajectory, broadening its service area and expanding its fleet of cranes to meet the demands of an ever-growing clientele. Strategic expansion included the establishment of new terminals in strategic locations across Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas. This growth was marked by a dedication to providing exceptional service, fostering a culture of safety, and investing in the latest equipment and technology.

In 2019, Joyce Crane joined the Marmon Crane Services, Inc. group of companies, further solidifying its position within the industry. This acquisition brought with it access to shared resources, expanded market reach, and a wealth of industry expertise, allowing Joyce Crane to continue its growth and innovation while staying true to its core values.
