Our History

Our journey began in 1963 when Derrel J. and Josephine Ridenour founded our company. Initially, we started as a family-run stair and ornamental iron business. However, when we were asked to relocate due to a new freeway construction, we decided to build fences and rent the space as contractor yards and storage for recreational vehicles. This marked the beginning of our self-storage journey. We designed and built our first enclosed self-storage units using our knowledge of the ornamental iron business. As we continued to expand, we shifted our focus to building self-storage facilities in 1982. Today, we are proud to be one of the largest locally-owned self-storage companies in the region.
