A & M Speech Therapy is a family-centered, in-home speech and language therapy provider, serving children from ages 1-18. Our mission is to provide comprehensive, tailored therapy services that cater to the unique needs of each child, helping them to overcome communication challenges and reach their full potential.

Our Services

We specialize in providingSpeech and Language Evaluation, which encompasses a range of skills, including:

• Speech Sounds (articulation), Phonological Skills, and Intelligibility
• Expressive Language, Receptive Language, and Vocabulary
• Social Skills Development
• Developmental Delays, Oral Motor Strength and Coordination, and Feeding/Swallowing

This comprehensive assessment helps us to identify areas of strength and weakness, providing a personalized roadmap for therapy and treatment. Our speech-language pathologists work closely with parents, providing regular updates and progress reports, ensuring that you, as the parent, are always informed and empowered to support your child's growth and development.

Intensive Summer Programs

Our Intensive Summer Programs are designed to provide intensive, one-on-one therapy sessions, three to four days a week, for six to eight weeks. This unique program is tailored to the needs of each child, offering a boost in speech and language skills over the summer break.

About Our Founder

Amanda Medhat, M.S., CCC-SLP/L, is the owner and lead speech-language pathologist at A & M Speech Therapy. With over seven years of experience, Amanda has developed a passion for treating a range of disorders, including articulation, phonological disorders, learning disorders, and more. Amanda holds a Bachelor's degree in Health Science from Bradley University and a Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology from Western Illinois University.
