Discovering the ground of brilliant sanity in every moment
Find Yourself: A Space for Integrated Psychotherapy
At Finding Ground Psychotherapy, we understand that life can be a continuous journey of growth and self-discovery. Our psychotherapy practice is built on the foundation of honoring the inherent brilliance, compassion, and clarity that lies within each individual. As licensed professional counselor and somatic experiencing practitioner, Lodi Siefer, MA, LPC, SEP, our mission is to create a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and emotions with curiosity and openness.
Our Approach
We don't just treat symptoms; we address the root causes of our clients' struggles. Our integrative approach draws from various therapies, including attachment theory, systems thinking, Buddhist psychology, modern psychoanalysis, cognitive and behavioral models, and a strong conviction in the wisdom of the body. We believe that every human being is born with inherent health, and our role as therapists is to help clients awaken to their brilliant sanity.
Our Specialty
We offer specialized services in trauma, grief and loss, LGBTQ groups, and forms of counseling. Our expertise includes working with individuals, couples, and groups, addressing issues such as trauma, grief, body image, gender identity, depression, anxiety, addictions, interpersonal challenges, and survivors of intimate partner violence.
About Our Therapist
Lodi Siefer is a licensed professional counselor with a master's degree in Contemplative Psychotherapy from Naropa University. With experience working in a variety of community mental health agencies, Lodi is committed to a life-long process of becoming more culturally competent and works with individuals from diverse cultures, the LGBTQ community, and people with disabilities.
Creating a Safe Space
Handstands, for Lodi, are not just physical exercises but metaphors for balance and shifting perspectives. We believe that living life fully requires making friends with falling and finding ground in the present moment. Our mission is to create a sacred space where clients can explore their experiences freely, and we strive to do so with kindness, compassion, and curiosity.
