Our History

Rhodes Greenhouses was founded in 1962 by Leland and Gerene Rhodes, who moved to Henderson, New York, and started building their dream greenhouses. Their son, Gary, took over the business in 1982 and expanded it into the largest grower of spring plants in the region. Today, we're proud to be a Proven Winner Certified Grower and Retailer, offering a vast selection of high-quality plants, gardening supplies, and expert advice.

We're committed to providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Our 40,000-square-foot growing range on 8.5 acres features a wide range of products, including:

New Beginnings

In 2023, we embarked on an exciting journey to renovate and upgrade our facilities, making it easier for our customers to shop and find what they need. We've widened aisles, created a new checkout area, and redesigned our outdoor shopping area to provide a more organized and convenient shopping experience.
