Our History

General Insurance Agency has a rich history that dates back to 1933, when George Mazanec opened the agency in the original bank office of the Peoples State Bank building in Bessemer, MI. The agency has been family-owned and operated since 1959, when Roy Malmberg purchased the agency from Mr. Mazanec. Today, we are proud to continue the legacy of providing excellent service to our customers.
