Big Sky Civil & Environmental (BSCE) is a full-service engineering firm based in Montana, providing a wide range of engineering solutions for complex projects. Since our founding in 2008, we have been dedicated to delivering practical, proven, and cost-effective solutions for public utility systems, site designs, transportation projects, materials testing, environmental management, and remediation. Our team of knowledgeable professionals is committed to taking concepts from planning, funding procurement, and design to successful implementation, startup, and operation.

Our Services

At Big Sky Civil & Environmental, we offer a comprehensive suite of services designed to meet the needs of our clients. Our most common services include:

• Water Services: Our water services cover everything from treatment and storage to source development and public and private wells. We also specialize in transmission and distribution.
• Site Design: Our site design services include grading and drainage plans, utility design and coordination, annexation and zoning revisions, and parking lot design.
• Environmental Management: We offer environmental site assessments (Phases I & II), remedial investigations, design and cleanup, leaking underground storage tanks, hazardous waste management, groundwater monitoring, and SPCC plans. Our staff is licensed and has extensive experience preparing SPCC plans in Montana.
• Litigation Assistance: Our litigation assistance services include expert witness reports and expert testimony.
• Wastewater Services: We offer wastewater treatment and disposal, lift stations/conveyance, sewer collection systems, and onsite septic systems.
• Subdivisions: Our subdivision services cover site planning and design, infrastructure planning and design, preliminary and final platting, roadway design and construction certification, and water rights.
