Our Story

Our story began in 1952 when Mr. Donald E. Austin, a pioneer in driver training, founded D&D Driving School. In 1992, Sharon Fife, Donald's daughter, assumed control of the business and has continued its excellence in the driving industry. Sharon's extensive knowledge, training, and expertise have made her a sought-after speaker at both state and national levels. She has served as the past President and Vice President of the Driving School Association of the Americas "DSAA" and is an active member of the Association of the National Stakeholders in Traffic Education "ANSTSE".

Our Services

At D&D Driving School, we offer a range of services designed to cater to the needs of students of all ages. Our services include:

• Traditional Teen Program: Our teen program is designed to provide a comprehensive driver education that includes both classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel training.
• Adult Program: Our adult program is designed to help adult learners acquire the skills and knowledge needed to become a safe and confident driver.
• Driver Rehabilitation: Our driver rehabilitation program is designed to help individuals with disabilities or medical conditions regain their driving skills and confidence.
• In-Car Only: Our in-car only program is designed for students who have already completed their classroom instruction and are ready to focus on behind-the-wheel training.

We reinforce the Smith System defensive driving techniques, which have been proven to be effective in reducing the risk of accidents.
