The Shack is more than just a mini golf course. Our property is a hidden gem, located in the Historic Kauffman's Park, offering a unique blend of fun, food, and memorable experiences for visitors of all ages. Our large family-friendly menu has something for everyone, from juicy burgers to refreshing salads, and our beautifully landscaped mini golf course surrounded by mature trees and filled with an abundance of wildlife is a must-play.

Our Story

We are proud to be a part of Manheim's rich history, with our property dating back to the 1700s when it was a meeting place for local Native American tribes. Over the years, the property has evolved, becoming a popular spot for Sunday school picnics and reunions, and eventually, a mini golf course and restaurant. We purchased the business in 2017 and renamed it The Shack Restaurant & Mini Golf, with the goal of preserving its history and charm while offering modern amenities and attractions.

Our Services

At The Shack, we offer a range of services to make your visit unforgettable. Our mini golf course is designed to be fun and challenging for all skill levels, with beautifully landscaped greens and obstacles to navigate. Our menu features a wide range of delicious options, including Broasted chicken, locally made hand-dipped ice cream, and refreshing shaved ice. We also offer fundraising opportunities for local groups and organizations, with custom mini golf tournaments and Give Back Wednesdays, where 5%-10% of all house sales go towards supporting your cause.

Take a spin on our original Merry-Go-Round, built in the 1920s, or explore our historic grounds, which include the original Plank Road and the site of the historic Kauffman's Park. We also offer ample parking, outdoor seating, and a convenient online ordering system for take-out or delivery.
