Welcome to Southern Cross Equestrian, a full-care training facility located in Terrell, TX. Our mission is simple: to create an environment where people and their horses can thrive. We are passionate about eventing, but we welcome anyone with a love of horses, whether you're a seasoned veteran or just starting out.

Our Story

Southern Cross Equestrian was founded by two sisters who share the same love of horses. After years of dreaming, we finally opened our doors to surround ourselves with people who love horses, competing, and learning from each other. Our goal is to build a really great training barn without the stress, politics, or drama. We're serious about horses and take pride in building a relaxed and fun environment.

Our Facilities

We have everything you need to train, including an Advanced-level event trainer working full-time and a dressage trainer/judge who comes in once a week. Our facilities include multiple jumping areas, a cross-country course, and ample space for riding. Whether you're just getting started or moving up the levels, we have all the amenities you need to hone your skills as a rider and build your confidence.

Meet Majyk

Majyk was the love of our lives and the inspiration behind opening Southern Cross Equestrian. He taught us both a whole lot about love and was the center of our lives. Unfortunately, he passed away on July 14, 2017. We continue to honor his memory by providing a happy and healthy environment for all horses and riders who come through our doors.
