Our founder, Danny Schwandt, started his journey in the landscaping industry at just 13 years old, and since then, he has built a reputation for providing top-notch quality products and exceptional customer service. With a business management and accounting degree from Lenoir Rhyne University, Danny has expanded his company to cater to both residential and commercial clients.

Our Story

Our story began with a humble beginning - Danny's first lawn-mowing job for a neighbor in the Viewmont area of Hickory, North Carolina. What started as a small job eventually led to the establishment of Danny's Lawn Service in 2001. As the company grew, so did Danny's vision for the future. He earned his degree and expanded his services to include design, build, and maintain services for outdoor spaces. Today, Southern Lawnscapes is proud to offer a comprehensive range of services, from paver patios and walkways to irrigation systems and low-voltage lighting.
