We're Serious About Scratch-Made

Our Story

At Edible Art Bakery & Dessert Cafe, we take pride in our long-standing history of providing exceptional scratch-made baked goods and desserts to the Raleigh, NC area. Our story begins with our founder, Judy Lasater, who started making cakes using her mother's recipes in the 1950s. In 1982, Judy partnered with her daughter Beth Pendergrass to form what is now Edible Art Bakery & Dessert Cafe. We have always prided ourselves on maintaining the integrity of our products by using high-quality, natural ingredients and continuing the traditional practice of scratch baking.

Our Philosophy

At Edible Art, we believe that the taste and quality of our ingredients should not be sacrificed for any reason. That's why we operate on the philosophy of scratch baking, making every cake, pie, and cookie from scratch. This dedication to the highest quality has earned us a reputation as one of the Triangle area's oldest and most beloved dessert bakeries.
