Our Doctor

Our doctor, Michael J. Platto, M.D., attended the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Eastern Virginia Medical Center in Norfolk, VA. Dr. Platto has over 30 years of clinical experience. He is Medical Director of the Acute Rehabilitation Department and Medical Director of Outpatient Rehabilitation Services at Washington Health System. Dr. Platto is also Chief of Physical Medicine at Washington Health System. He is past president of the Washington County Medical Society. In addition to Washington Health System, he is also on the medical staff of Allegheny Health Network Canonsburg Hospital and St. Clair Hospital.

Our Services

We offer a range of services including musculoskeletal care, prosthetics and orthotics, and impairment & disability evaluations. For musculoskeletal pain, we provide treatment options such as stretching, physical therapy, topical or oral pain relievers, and injection of medicine into painful areas. We also offer customized exercise programs to help manage pain and improve mobility. For prosthetics and orthotics, we work with local vendors to fit patients for the appropriate device and make adjustments when necessary. Additionally, we complete impairment ratings and disability evaluations for individuals, attorneys, and insurance companies.
