Our clinic was established in 1998 by Dr. Linda Kauffman and Barbara O'Bannon, with a vision to treat every animal as a valued family member. Our clinic is conveniently located just off the Eastside Highway on the south edge of Stevensville, making us easily accessible for clients in the Bitterroot Valley. We are proud to serve a diverse range of animal clients, from small pets to large livestock. Our team consists of experienced veterinarians and support staff, all sharing the same commitment to the health and well-being of your animals.

Our Services

At Burnt Fork Veterinary Clinic, we offer a wide range of services for both small and large animals. Our small animal services include routine wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, surgery, and internal medicine. We also provide specialized services such as acupuncture and physical therapy, emergency care, and an online pharmacy for your convenience.

For our large animal clients, we offer comprehensive preventive care, reproductive services, and ranch calls. Our large animal services include herd health management, vaccinations, and parasite control. We also provide emergency services for large animals, ensuring that your livestock receive the care they need, when they need it.

In addition to our regular services, we offer seasonal information and resources to help you keep your animals healthy year-round. From CAE (Caprine Arthritis Encephalitis) information for small ruminants to spring horse vaccinations, we are here to support you in every season.

Our Staff

Our team is our greatest asset, and we are proud to introduce our veterinarians and support staff. Led by our owners Dr. Linda Kauffman, Dr. Kirstin Bull, and Dr. Zachary Damby, our veterinary team includes Dr. Teresa Petterson and Dr. Magdalena Niedermeyer. Our support staff consists of experienced veterinary technicians and receptionists, all dedicated to providing exceptional care for your animals.
