Our journey began in 1944 when Great Aunt Clara Hyatt purchased one of the first licensed nursing homes in the Pacific Northwest. The late 1950s saw her brother, Herald Hyatt, and his wife Daisy take over the building, and it was named Yakima Convalescent. This was not just a business; it was their home, where they lived and worked tirelessly to provide top-notch care to their residents.
