Our team is led by Brian Ehrenfeld, a Pittsburgh native and a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Brian started his construction career by interning at some of the more established construction companies in the area, where he learned the fundamental trades of building. His passion for innovation and commitment to quality led him to start BuildEx, where he has dedicated himself to building lasting relationships with his clients.

Our Initiatives

That's why we have implemented Team Zero Injury, a collaborative learning process that identifies and addresses any safety deficiencies. We encourage participation by everyone on the project team to discuss any safety issues they might see, and we provide an uncompromised dedication to training subcontractors on safe construction practices. We believe that safety is in everyone's best interest, and we will not accept anything short of Zero Injury on our projects.

We also appreciate the opportunities that the construction industry has given us, so we believe in giving back to our communities. For example, we have participated in the Habitat Builder Blitz, where we worked with Habitat for Humanity to build a new house for a deserving family in just one week. Brian personally worked side by side with our subcontractors, and we were proud to be a part of this important project.
