Cafe Old Vienna

At Cafe Old Vienna, we are proud to offer an authentic German-Austrian Alpine Lodge experience in the heart of Myrtle Beach. For over 20 years, we have been serving the Grand Strand with traditional German Soul Food, including dishes like Veal Wiener Schnitzel, Sauerbraten, and Schweine Haxe. Our menu also features a variety of vegetarian options, fresh salads, homemade soups, and a dedicated gluten-free menu. For the younger ones, we have a Kids Menu that is sure to delight. Our restaurant was even featured in the "A Carolina Christmas" movie, shown in theaters over 13 states in Christmas 2020.

Our Story

The story of Cafe Old Vienna began in 1997 when Werner Horvath, along with his Aunt and Uncle, opened their doors to the public. Since then, we have been committed to providing an atmosphere of "Gemuetlichkeit" (warm hospitality) and serving the finest German cuisine. Our menu is designed to transport you to the heart of Austria and Germany, with dishes that are both familiar and exciting. Whether you're looking for a cozy dinner spot or a lively place to enjoy a beer and some friends, we have something for everyone.

At Cafe Old Vienna, we also offer a variety of special services to make your dining experience even more enjoyable. We have a full bar with a selection of German draft beers and specialty wines. Our Beergarden is dog-friendly and a perfect spot to enjoy the outdoors. We also offer a Happy Hour menu from 4-7 pm, featuring discounted beers and appetizers. For those looking to plan a larger gathering, we have a private dining area available for special events and parties.
