Catholic Human Services is a leading non-profit organization that has been strengthening Northern Michigan by providing life-enhancing services to individuals, families, and communities for over 50 years. Our mission is to make a difference in the lives of the people in Northern Michigan, and we are committed to providing a wide range of social, emotional, and spiritual support to all people, regardless of faith, income, or circumstance.

Our History

Catholic Human Services was founded in 1972 by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Gaylord. Since its inception, the organization has grown to become one of the largest and most respected providers of mental health, substance abuse, and social services in Northern Michigan. With multiple locations throughout the region, Catholic Human Services provides a wide range of services to over 26,000 people each year.
