Ethos Martial Arts is a premier mixed martial arts academy based in Queen Creek, Arizona. With over a decade of teaching experience, our knowledgeable instructors are dedicated to providing high-quality instruction in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Viking Striking, and Mixed Martial Arts. We are proud to be an affiliate of Jay Pages Jiu Jitsu in Tempe, AZ, and we strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for students of all ages and skill levels.
Our Programs
At Ethos Martial Arts, we offer a range of programs designed to meet the needs of our diverse student body. Our classes include:
- Mixed Martial Arts: Our Mixed Martial Arts class is a full-contact sport that combines striking, grappling, and ground fighting. In this class, you will learn how to mix different arts together to become an effective mixed martial artist. This class is instructed by Professors Shepherd and Larsen and is open to students aged 15 and above. Required gear includes 16 oz. boxing gloves, 8 oz. MMA sparring gloves, 4 oz. MMA gloves, shin pads, groin protection, head gear, and a mouthpiece.
- Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu: Our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program covers both fundamental and advanced levels of the art. Classes are separated into fundamentals and advanced to allow for proper development of the art, and we practice both Gi and No Gi. Gi classes involve the use of the traditional uniform, while No Gi classes typically involve the use of shorts and a rash guard. Ages 13 and above.
- Viking Striking: Our Viking Striking program is a striking system that features elements from boxing, muay thai, taekwondo, and karate, all geared towards Mixed Martial Arts. This class is instructed by coach Tyler and is open to students aged 15 and above. Required gear includes 16 oz. boxing gloves, shin pads, groin protection, head gear, and a mouthpiece.
- Kids Brazilian Jiu Jitsu: This program covers the fundamentals to advanced levels of BJJ. Classes are separated out by fundamentals and advanced to allow for proper development of the art. - Women's Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu: This program covers the fundamentals to advanced levels of BJJ. Classes are separated out by fundamentals and advanced to allow for proper development of the art. - Little Gladiators: This program covers the fundamentals to advanced levels of BJJ. Classes are separated out by fundamentals and advanced to allow for proper development of the art. We also practice both Gi and No Gi. Gi classes involve use of the traditional uniform, No Gi classes typically involve the use of shorts and a rash guard. Ages 5 - 7.
- Kids Viking Striking: This program is a striking system featuring elements from boxing, muay thai, taekwondo, and karate geared towards Mixed Martial Arts under coach Devon Bennett. In this class, students will learn effective techniques that have been battle-tested in the cage and prepare them for competition or any self-defense situation. This class is open to students aged 7 to 14. Required gear includes 16 oz. boxing gloves, shin pads, groin protection, head gear and mouthpiece.
