Glorify God through dance, and show God's love to each student
At Highland Park Dance Company, we are dedicated to providing exceptional dance training to students of all ages. Our mission is to glorify God in all aspects of dance training and to show God's love to each student. We achieve this by offering private and group instruction in all areas of dance and drill team technique, with a focus on flexibility, style, coordination, stamina/strength, overall body movement, and musicality.
Our Curriculum
Our curriculum is built on Christian values, teaching students the importance of character, work ethic, and integrity. We believe that dance is not just about perfecting technique, but also about developing vital life skills. Our instructors are dedicated to not only teaching dance techniques, but also to setting a positive example in action and in speech.
Competition Team
Our competition team is an exciting opportunity for students to develop their skills and grow as individuals. Our competition team is made up of 4th-8th graders who practice rigorously throughout the school year and then compete at 3-5 drill team competitions across Texas each February and March. Our qualified dancers are grouped and separated into different teams based on ability level.
Tryout Process
For those interested in trying out for the competition team, we offer a "Competition Team Tryout Prep" class, which is designed to prepare students for the tryout process.
