At Elhanan Equestrian, we are passionate about breeding and training exceptional Warmblood sport horses, Fine German Riding Ponies, and Connemara Ponies. Our boutique breeding facility produces a limited number of foals each year, allowing us to focus on quality over quantity. We are dedicated to creating a safe and healthy environment for our horses, riders, and staff, and our team is committed to excellence in every aspect of our operations.
Our Story
Our journey began with a vision to create a breeding and training center that would prioritize the well-being of both humans and horses. Our name, Elhanan, is inspired by the Hebrew phrase "What God hath graciously given, " and it reflects our commitment to gratitude, family, and the pursuit of excellence. We believe that the bond between humans and horses is sacred, and we strive to cultivate a spirit of mutual trust, respect, and connection in every aspect of our work.
Our Services
At Elhanan Equestrian, we offer a range of services designed to help riders and horses achieve their full potential. Our Classical Dressage and Combined Training center provides expert instruction and training for riders of all levels, from beginners to competitive athletes. Our Riding Academy offers private and group lessons, as well as camps and clinics, to help riders develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed. We also provide breeding and sales services, carefully matching our exceptional horses with dedicated riders who share our passion for excellence.
Meet Our Team
Our team is led by Allison Doares-Sykora, our owner and business manager, and Sandra Bussey Turner, our head trainer and instructor. Sandra brings over 25 years of experience as a professional dressage rider and trainer, with a proven track record of success in the show ring and a deep understanding of classical horsemanship. Together, our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care and training to our horses and riders, and to helping each individual achieve their unique goals and aspirations.
