At Jobs for Maine's Graduates (JMG), we believe that every student deserves the opportunity to succeed. That's why we partner with public education and private businesses to offer results-driven solutions to ensure all Maine students graduate, attain post-secondary credentials, and pursue meaningful careers.

Our Mission

Our mission is to support Maine students in achieving their academic and career goals. We do this by providing a continuum of support, employability skills, and opportunities that help students develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed. With over 150 programs and initiatives, we serve more than 12,000 students annually across all 16 Maine counties.

Our Services

We offer a range of services and programs designed to support students at every stage of their academic and career journey. From middle school to high school completion, career and technical education, college success, and extended learning opportunities, we provide students with the tools and resources they need to succeed. Our initiatives include the Alfond Youth & Community Center, Aspire Initiative, Boys & Girls Clubs, HOPE & PaS, MELMAC, Opportunity Passport, STEM Initiative, and more.

Our Approach

Our approach is student-centered and results-driven. We work closely with students, educators, and employers to identify the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the workforce. We then develop programs and initiatives that help students develop those skills and connect with employers who can provide them with meaningful career opportunities.
