Our Services

Our deli menu features a variety of fresh and healthy options, perfect for a quick meal or snack. Our bakery offers an assortment of delicious treats, all made with the finest ingredients. Our bulk department is filled with an array of nuts, grains, and spices, allowing customers to purchase exactly what they need. Our gifts and general merchandise section offers unique and thoughtful items for any occasion. Our meats and produce departments feature fresh, locally sourced products that are free of artificial preservatives, colors, flavors, sweeteners, and chemical additives.

In addition to our product offerings, we also provide services such as a link match program, coronavirus donations, clubs and programs, and a morsel magazine. We believe in supporting our local community and promoting sustainable living, and we strive to do so through our services and initiatives.

Community Engagement

At Neighborhood Co-op Grocery, we are dedicated to engaging with our local community and promoting sustainable living. Through our events such as the Owner Fest, Farm Crawl, and Feed Your Neighbor 5K, we bring people together and celebrate the importance of local and sustainable living.

Our Wooden Nickel program allows customers to support charitable organizations that align with our values. Quarterly, we collect money for two charitable organizations that support people, environment, and animals alike. This program is just one example of our commitment to giving back to the community that supports us.

Awards and Recognition

Neighborhood Co-op Grocery has been recognized for our efforts in promoting sustainable living and supporting our local community. We are proud to be the first store in Southern Illinois to receive a Silver Level GreenChill certification from the Environment Protection Agency (EPA). This award is given to businesses that reduce in-store refrigerant usage, and we are honored to be recognized for our commitment to the environment.
