OSC was founded in 1981 with a philosophy centered around exercising the highest ethical standards in providing rehabilitation and related services. From its inception, the company aimed to serve governmental agencies, employers, insurers, and the northwest legal community. Our home office is located in the historic Webster House in Bothell, Washington. Over the years, we have experienced slow, steady, and controlled growth, now operating in multiple locations throughout Washington State with over 50 employees.

Our staff is actively engaged in professional organizations and publishes in professional journals to ensure they stay updated with the latest developments in the field. In the early days, our referral base consisted mainly of cases from the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries and Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. However, we recognized the importance of diversifying our practice to mitigate the risk of legislative changes. This strategic move has enabled us to become the most diverse private rehabilitation counseling company in the northwest region.

Today, our referral base includes ongoing work from the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries, the Department of Veterans Affairs, self-insured employers throughout Washington State, and workers' compensation referrals from California and Alaska. We also handle significant amounts of work under federal worker compensation programs such as the Longshore Harbor Workers Act, Federal Employee Liability Act, and Jones Act. Our hands-on rehabilitation work provides a solid foundation for the forensic referrals we receive from both plaintiff and defense attorneys. Throughout, we strive to deliver objective, high-quality, cost-efficient, and results-oriented rehabilitation services.
