Competitive Dance Company
Our competitive dance company offers advanced training in Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz, Tap, and Ballet. Dancers receive expert coaching for regional and national competitions while developing technical proficiency and artistic expression. The program emphasizes teamwork, discipline, and performance excellence through intensive rehearsals and professional choreography.
Weekly Dance Classes
Structured weekly classes for ages 3-14+ in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, and Hip Hop. Tippi Toes Program

Jessi Rustad founded Genesis Dance Company after 20 years in the Twin Cities dance community. With a Bachelors in Performing Arts from Oklahoma City University, she brings expertise in dance education and child development. Her leadership emphasizes creativity and technical excellence.
Chrissy Hagen
Faculty Teacher & Choreographer
Chrissy Hagen has taught dance for 10 years after competing nationally. As a former Wayzata Dance Team captain, she specializes in novice programs and costume design. Her choreography has earned regional and national awards for student performances.
Michelle Banbury
Faculty Choreographer & Teacher
Michelle Banbury brings 20 years of teaching experience and professional performance credits including Broadway and Walt Disney World. She has trained dancers who now compete professionally and teaches multiple dance styles with an emphasis on technical precision.
