At JSP Logistics, we are a company that focuses on the goal of providing exceptional logistics services to our customers. Our journey began in 1990 when we were launched as a product of SB International Freight Ltd, a Christchurch, New Zealand-based freight forwarder and customs brokerage. Initially, our service was designed to handle the door-to-door delivery of Japanese tourist souvenirs and gifts purchased during their travels to New Zealand. We allowed tourists to travel unencumbered and free from the burden of carrying additional baggage during their journey, and our service ensured that their precious cargo was delivered safely and securely to their homes on time.

Our strategy has always been to employ Japanese citizens who understand the culture and service expectations of our Japanese customers. Our staff are experts in handling international cargo and are able to offer expert advice on packing, freight options, and customs procedures. In 1997, we formed our own limited liability company with our founder Stephen Bateman and our director Koichi Watanabe, who established our future strategy and realized the potential growth opportunities in other countries.
