Our History

We got our start in the '90s with a pile of glacial rocks gathered up from the fields here on our home farm. Three generations of Decker farmers have provided the basis for a great niche business, and we've been expanding our offerings ever since. We now purchase beautiful boulders from nearby trucking companies, which come from anywhere between Colorado and North Carolina. Our customers are always welcome to bring their own rock for us to engrave, although we recommend giving us a call beforehand to ensure that the rock is suitable for engraving.

Our Online Rock Inventory

We have a wide variety of beautiful engraved yard rocks available in our online inventory. From simple last name designs to more detailed memorials, we have something for everyone. We take great care in palletizing and painting each rock, and we offer additional services such as colored paint, deeper engraving, and faster turnaround times for an additional cost. Our rocks are best viewed on a PC, although you can also pinch zoom the page on a mobile phone.

Visiting Our Shop

We are located in Bernard, Iowa, and we welcome visitors to our shop by appointment only. We tend to run off a lot, so it's important to schedule an appointment in advance to ensure that we'll be available to meet with you. We have a $350 per engraved yard rock minimum, although small single name rocks under $100 can be done in batches to accommodate. We love making exceptions, but please keep in mind that long-lasting professional results take time and materials to complete.

Getting Started

If you're interested in ordering a custom engraved rock from us, the process is simple. You can either pick out a rock at our shop, over text message, or online. We'll take a photo of the rock and import it into our software, where we'll design it until you're happy with the final product. At that point, we can give you an accurate cost for the final product. Our turnaround time is roughly 2-4 weeks, depending on our schedule and the scope of the work.

Additional Services

In addition to our custom engraving services, we also offer a variety of additional services such as colored paint, deeper engraving, and faster turnaround times for an additional cost.
